Proof they received it.
Not just that you sent it.
You send a meeting notice to 60 residents, a circular to staff, a notification to a client. CODEX records who opened it, who confirmed it and who didn't — and closes that record into a sealed document that works as evidence.

41 confirmed · 12 opened but not confirmed · 7 not opened. When you close it, all of this is sealed.
Before a receipt counts, whoever confirms it gets a six-digit code in their inbox and has to type it in. That records that the person who acknowledged controlled that address, not that someone clicked. It is the difference between a confirmation and a proof.
Simple electronic signature with reinforced proof (eIDAS art. 25). We are not a qualified trust service provider, and we say so.
The difference from an email
A normal email
- «I sent it to you» — and nobody can check.
- Read receipts can be switched off by anyone.
- If the recipient denies it, it's your word against theirs.
- You forward the file and now two versions are circulating.
A CODEX acknowledgement
- Each recipient gets their own link.
- It records when they opened it and when they confirmed.
- On closing, a sealed dossier is generated with its hash.
- One live document: there are no two versions.
How it works
- You seal the document —the notice, the circular, the notification.
- You add the recipients. Each gets their own link by email.
- You see live status: opened, confirmed and pending, with dates.
- You close and certify. A sealed dossier is generated with the final status: who confirmed, who didn't, and against which exact document.
The dossier has its own hash and is verifiable like any other CODEX document. It works as evidence even if we disappear.
