Let an AI check
your documents

Connect CODEX to Claude, ChatGPT or any compatible client and ask it whether a document has been altered. It answers by checking it against the Bitcoin blockchain.

Is this contract I’ve been sent the original?

→ verificar_documento · CODEXAuthentic. It is exactly the document that was sealed on 12 September 2026, anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain. What it does not prove: who sent it, or that anyone has committed to what it says.
Example answer. The assistant calls the tool and is required to state the limits as well.

This is what a person sees. An agent receives the same thing as data —verdict, block and the limits of the proof— through the tools above.

Why it matters

01

Faking a document now costs nothing

A convincing contract, a certificate, an invoice. What used to take work now comes out in seconds. The question “is this authentic?” has gone from rare to constant.

02

Today an assistant can only take it on trust

When you give it a PDF, it has no way to check anything. It repeats what the document says about itself. With this, it checks it against a public blockchain that not even we control.

03

It works with anyone’s documents

Not just ours. If your client sends you a document sealed by another firm, it checks that too. It is infrastructure, not a feature of our product.

What it can do

search You give it a fingerprint —or a whole email that contains one— and it answers: authentic, altered or not on record.
fetch The detail: when it was sealed, which Bitcoin block it was anchored in, whether it has been revoked.
verificar_documento Accepts the whole file, not just its fingerprint. The assistant does not have to calculate anything.
explicar_prueba What a seal proves and what it does not. So the assistant does not overstate.

What this seal does not prove

An assistant that answers “it’s authentic” without qualification is misleading. That is why the tool requires it to state the limits as well.

It does prove

  • That the content has not changed since it was sealed.
  • That it existed before a specific Bitcoin block, with a date anyone can check.
  • That it can be checked again without us.

It does not prove

  • Who issued it. The issuer is self-declared unless they have their own certificate.
  • That anyone has committed to anything. A seal is not a signature.
  • That the content is true. A false document that has been sealed is still false.

Basis: Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (eIDAS), Art. 46 — an electronic document cannot be denied evidential value solely because it is electronic. Its weight depends on the evidence that accompanies it.

How to connect it

  1. Copy the address above.
  2. In your assistant, add it as a remote MCP connector.
  3. Ask it whether a document is authentic. Nothing else is needed.

In ChatGPT, custom connectors are set up from the account settings. In Claude, from the remote connectors. The names of those options change often; if you can’t find them, search for “MCP” in the settings.

Every document you seal carries this inside

You don’t have to explain it to anyone: the PDF itself includes the instructions so that anyone —person or machine— can check it.
