Cookie policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

This Policy explains which cookies AIM CODEX uses. The Service is designed to work with the bare minimum: we only use strictly necessary technical cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to enable or improve its operation. Depending on their purpose, cookies may be technical (necessary) or non-technical (preferences, analytics, advertising).

2. Cookies we use

CookiePurposeTypeDuration
codex_langRemember the language you have explicitly chosen (a link with ?lang=) so pages are served to you in that language.Technical (preference you choose)365 days
Document opened (cdxv_…)Remember that this browser has already opened a specific shared document, so another view is not deducted from its limit and you can accept or acknowledge it. A signed value with no personal data; it is only sent to that document’s address.Technical (necessary)30 days
Document access (cdxd_…)Remember that the access code of a specific document has been entered, so it is not requested again. A signed value with no personal data; it stops working if the issuer changes the code.Technical (necessary)30 days
__cf_bm (paddle.com, third party)Only when you pay: Cloudflare bot protection on Paddle’s checkout.Technical (necessary for payment)30 minutes

We use no session cookie: the console session is kept in browser storage (table in section 3). Because they are strictly technical and necessary to provide the Service, these cookies are exempt from prior consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI, and are disclosed here for transparency.

3. Third-party cookies and browser storage

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, nor do we share browsing information with third parties for those purposes.

Only when you decide to pay (when you press a payment button or open a payment link) is the Paddle checkout loaded (our reseller, which charges in its own name); it may use its own technical cookies, necessary for payment and fraud prevention (such as __cf_bm); they are governed by Paddle’s policy. While you are only looking at prices, nothing from Paddle is loaded.

Besides cookies, the website stores only these technical items in your browser (local and session storage). They are not used to track you and do not leave your browser, except where stated.

codex_token, codex_exp, codex_tenantKeep you signed in to the console: the signed session token, its expiry and your account. It is only sent to our server, to identify you.Local storage12 hours at most; deleted when you sign out

4. How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that, as these are necessary technical cookies, blocking them may prevent the Service from working properly or prevent you from signing in. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge provide instructions in their help centres.

5. Updates

If we ever add non-technical cookies, we will update this Policy and implement a prior consent mechanism by category. For any questions: hola@aim-codex.ai.
