Terms of service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These Terms govern the contracting of the AIM CODEX service between BIOMAG, S.L.U. (the “Provider”) and the user who contracts it (the “Customer”). By contracting, the Customer declares that they have read and accepted them.

1. Provider

Provider details

BIOMAG, S.L.U. · Tax ID (NIF) B-01037241 (EU VAT ESB01037241) · c/ Barrachi, 39 – Pab. 3, 01013 Vitoria-Gasteiz (Álava, Spain) · Tel. +34 945 460 486 · hola@aim-codex.ai · Commercial Registry of Álava: Volume 514, Folio 74, Sheet VI-1773

2. Purpose and description of the Service

The Service makes it possible to seal documents with a cryptographic fingerprint anchored in a public blockchain, verify them publicly and share them through live links, as well as to manage their acceptance and the related proof. It is offered in different plans (Free, Professional and Firm), whose features and prices are published on the Pricing page.

3. Electronic contracting process

In accordance with Articles 27 and 28 of the LSSI, the contract is concluded online through: (i) registration and account creation; (ii) plan selection; (iii) payment, where applicable; and (iv) confirmation. The Customer must provide truthful information and is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. The language of the contract is Spanish; translations of these Terms are provided for convenience and, in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

4. Prices, taxes and invoicing

The applicable prices are those shown on the Pricing page at the time of contracting. Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown without prejudice to any applicable taxes (VAT), which are shown at checkout. Payments are made through Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as reseller (Merchant of Record): it charges the payment, applies the taxes and issues the invoice, and its buyer terms also apply to that purchase.

5. Payment, term and renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed periodically (monthly, annual or two-year, according to the period the Customer chooses at checkout) and renew automatically for equal periods unless the Customer cancels before renewal. The Customer may cancel at any time from their account or by written request; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already billed, with no refund for the current period unless the law provides otherwise.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If the Customer is a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession), they have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, in accordance with the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU).

As this is a digital service, if the Customer expressly requests that performance begin during the withdrawal period, they acknowledge and accept that: (i) performance begins immediately; and (ii) they will lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed or, where applicable, must pay the proportional part already provided if they withdraw earlier. As long as the service has not been provided, the right of withdrawal remains for the 14 days.

To withdraw, simply notify it unequivocally to hola@aim-codex.ai within the period; the refund is processed by Paddle, which charged the payment. You may use the following model (not mandatory):

“To BIOMAG, S.L.U. (hola@aim-codex.ai): I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the provision of the AIM CODEX service. Contracted on […]. Name of consumer […]. Address […]. Date […]. Signature (only if notified on paper).”

7. Customer obligations

8. Intellectual property and licence

The Service and its elements belong to the Provider or its licensors. The Customer retains ownership of their documents and grants the Provider the limited licence needed to provide the Service (store, process, seal and display the verification).

9. Availability and liability

The Provider will make its best efforts to keep the Service available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider’s liability is limited to the amounts paid by the Customer in the last 12 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular towards consumers.

10. Data protection

Data processing is governed by the Privacy policy. Where the Customer processes personal data of third parties through the Service, the Data Processing Agreement applies.

11. Changes

The Provider may amend these Terms for legal, technical or service reasons, giving reasonable notice. Changes shall not apply retroactively to periods already billed.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence shall have jurisdiction and their mandatory rights shall be respected. In all other cases, the parties submit to the Courts of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
